Press Release

A selection of four classic ‘tondo’ works made by Don Driver between 1990 and 1996 when the artist was vigorously exploring the circular form. Barrel lids and cable roll sidings support other found objects playfully set within their parameters, bearing the hallmarks of Driver’s canny eye and distinctive aesthetic. In particular, the rarely seen Tooled Diptych (1996) from the Don Driver Estate, is a striking example of the artist’s work at the height of his powers.
