Kavi Gupta

Kavi Gupta was established in 2002, and is headquartered in Chicago’s vibrant West Loop neighbourhood. The gallery hosts more than a dozen museum-quality exhibitions each year in its five gallery spaces, and participates in international art fairs such as Art Basel Miami Beach, Frieze London, Frieze New York, Frieze Masters, The Armory Show, EXPO Chicago and Felix Fair. Kavi Gupta Editions produces a broad range of catalogues and monographs, and serves as a focal point for the gallery’s academic research on contemporary art and artists.

Artists currently represented by the gallery include the estate of Young-Il Ahn, Firelei Báez, Alfred Conteh, Inka Essenhigh, the estate of Roger Brown, Beverly Fishman, Jeffrey Gibson, Richard Hunt, AFRICOBRA founders Jae Jarrell, Wadsworth Jarrell and Gerald Williams, Michael Joo, Glenn Kaino, Deborah Kass, José Lerma, Manuel Mathieu, Manish Nai, Angel Otero, Roxy Paine, Clare Rojas, Devan Shimoyama, Mary Sibande, Jessica Stockholder, Tony Tasset, Mickalene Thomas, and Kennedy Yanko.
