In the sculptures that share this title, I contemplate the geometrical figures known as Plato’s solids, as a beginning, alluding to the importance that geometry has had in the development of contemporary society, these pieces are hand-carved in wood and painted with oil, the intention is somehow to preserve the feeling that a painting worked with this technique gives but to expose it to one more dimension, that is to say, to project a painting in three dimensions.

These pieces were worked in a software from which I mix different objects related to the contemporary society, insert them between them and between the different solids of Plato, until achieving a structural balance that allows the sculptures to preserve their vertical position as well as an aesthetic balance.
