Press Release

On the occasion of the release of his new album Kiss The Beast, Perrotin invites Sébastien Tellier to present a carte blanche from 10 to 17 January 2026 at the Saint-Claude space in the Marais. This installation creates a dialogue between the musician’s singular universe and a selection of works by Xavier Veilhan with whom he has maintained a long-standing artistic friendship.

From their joint performance at MAC VAL in 2006 to the French Pavilion at the Venice Biennale in 2017, and their collaboration for Chanel Haute Couture runway shows, the exhibition revisits their partnership by presenting, notably, Instrument n°7 (2022), Xavier Veilhan’s monumental guitar played by Sébastien Tellier as well as Sébastien, a sculptural figure of the musician at his piano created in 2006.

The exhibition will also present collaborations with artists such as Jean-Baptiste Mondino, André, Charlotte Abramow, Mat Maitland, Jonas Unger and Melchior Leroux. It will be complemented by listening sessions, serving as a prelude to Sébastien Tellier’s new album, unveiled in full to the public on 30 January 2026.
