Ndidi Emefiele, a celebrated Nigerian artist, brings to the fore her unique fusion of painting and collage, often incorporating unconventional materials such as beads, fabric, and paper to create textured, multi-dimensional works. Ruozhe Xue is presenting a serene diptych titled Double Lift Up, encapsulating his incredible ability to straddle the thin line between realism and dreamlike surreal imagery. Xue, whose second solo exhibition at Gallery Rosenfeld is highly anticipated, has gained global recognition for his meticulously crafted canvases that blur the boundaries between the tangible and the ethereal, often evoking a sense of quiet introspection and meditative calm.

Teodora Axente from Romania contributes her thought-provoking works that delve into the psychological depths of human experience. Axente’s paintings are characterised by their hauntingly beautiful compositions, where figures often seem to emerge from or dissolve into their surroundings, creating a powerful narrative on identity, memory, and the passage of time. Taking inspiration from Dutch Old Masters, yet reworking them in a uniquely surreal tone, her works resonate with a profound sense of emotional and existential inquiry.

Enrique Brinkmann, a distinguished Spanish artist, brings his intricate and abstract works to the booth, demonstrating his mastery over texture and form. Brinkmann’s practice is deeply rooted in the exploration of materiality, where he manipulates surfaces and textures to create compositions that are both visually striking and conceptually complex. These works presented, made during the artist’s 85^th year, invite viewers to explore the boundaries between chaos and order, abstraction and representation.
