SAMIM ALAM BEG, VIVEK V C

This exhibition is an exploration of memory, time, and the traces that endure. Through various mediums, the artists examine how experiences are preserved within materials, forms, and landscapes. While Samim Alam Beg’s practice transforms observations of natural structures into intricate ceramic sculptures that reflect accumulation and change, Vivek V C investigates the persistence of a family memory of fire and its continued presence across generations. Together, their works consider how moments, places, and sensations remain embedded in the present, revealing the subtle ways memory continues to shape our understanding of the world.

The exhibition will preview on Saturday, 20 June 2026, from 7:00 to 9:00 PM at Vida Heydari Contemporary. The artists will be present at the Preview. It will run through to 2 August, 2026.
