Bronwyn received her education in Fine Arts at the University of Canterbury and has taught at secondary and tertiary level since 1972. She has had extensive involvement in curriculum development and assessment at both secondary and tertiary levels throughout her teaching career.

She has exhibited in solo and group shows for the past thirty years and her work in sculpture and drawing is held in public and private collections throughout New Zealand.
