Júlia Esqué is a designer. She spent the first years of her career working between Barcelona and New York before establishing as an independent designer in 2019. Her interest ranges from lighting, furniture or accessories to textile application on various objects. Has collaborated with companies that include Moooi, Santa&Cole, Mobles114, Sancal, Paloma Wool and Apartamento studios.
Júlia Esqué is a designer. Her work ranges from lighting, furniture, and accessories to the application of textiles on various objects. “With a strong educational background and international trajectory, her work is defined by a rich use of contrasts and a clear drive for experimentation, where design and functionality are guided by a search for formal balance. She blends languages with both freshness and mastery.” Alongside her practice, she is invited as a guest teacher at various universities, including Master Product Design at ECAL (École cantonale d’art de Lausanne) and contributes to the Master programs at Elisava Barcelona School of Design and Engineering.
