MARC KÄMPFEN
Marc Kämpfen (b. 1997, Digne-les-Bains) is a French artist based in Zurich. He completed a Bachelor of Fine Arts at Zürcher Hochschule der Künste, Zurich in 2022. He completed his Master of Fine Arts there in 2024. In 2023 he won the Hintermeister Fondation for young painters award.
Kämpfen’s first solo exhibition was LOCI, Offspace Flüelastrasse (actual Fomo space), Zurich in 2023.
Selected group exhibitions include Space Invasion III, Fabienne Levy Gallery, Lausanne (2024); making space finding form, Zhdk, Zurich (2024); Synthese, Walter Haymann Stiftung, Zurich (2024); Gifts, Zhdk, Zurich (2023); Art and Activism, Instituto Svizzero, Rome (2023).
