MARK BRAUNIAS
1955-2024, New ZealandBraunias’ art is characterised by its skilful treatment of line and colour, to express an ironic and subtle commentary on the human condition. His work is informed by found popular and comic art. Braunias studied at the Canterbury School of Fine Arts in Christchurch, graduating with a BFA in 1987.
