Born in 1982 in Hangzhou, China, Tang Dixin graduated from the Oil Painting department of Shanghai Normal University. Tang Dixin art practices involve a spectrum of media, all contribute to emphasising the site-specificity and eventuality of art. He lives and works in Shanghai and also works as a curator.
Tang has exhibited widely, notably at Zendai Museum of Modern Art, Shanghai (2009), Osage Gallery, Shanghai (2009), Osage Gallery, Hong Kong (2010), Pékin Fine Arts, Beijing (2010), Nanjing Qinghe Current Art Center, Nanjing (2010), Ullens Center for Contemporary Art, Beijing (2013) and Museum of Contemporary Art, Shanghai (2013).
