Studio K.O.S, formerly known as Tim Rollins and K.O.S, are a collaborative group founded by activist and teacher Tim Rollins (b. Pittsfield, ME, USA, 1955–2017). In 1979 he co-founded Group Material in New York and taught students at Intermediate School 52 in the Bronx in the early 1980s. He went on to create the Art & Knowledge Workshop. His highly acclaimed collaboration with the members of K.O.S. (Kids of Survival) took the form of drawings, sculptural objects, and paintings on canvas and paper.Studio K.O.S is Angel Abreu (b. Philadelphia, PA, USA 1974) and Ricardo Savinon (b. New York/NY, USA 1971).
