Turbina is the artist duo of Minerva Capdevila and Mateo Fumero. Our sculptures and objects reflecto n the transcendental: framing our experience with the unknown, matter becomes the language of the indefinable.
Materials articulate their internal symbology. An unwritten language deeply understood by our most ancestral senses.A cosmos of consciousness. In this close relationship with the object, latent memores are activated, interrupting everyday perception. They are the door, the tear, the ruptura of our earthly reality toward contemplation and the experience of the invisible.
The symbol is as much a part of us as we are of it; by returning to it, we return to ourselves.
