How to go on when there’s no turning back? This spring, 17 artists-in-residence at Oolite Arts in Miami explore concepts of irreversible time and the continuous loop of existence. Through various mediums, they craft pathways through time, circling between multiple pasts and potential futures. Rewriting histories, memory work, transformation states, and digital and ancestral technologies are revealed as underlying motifs. “Everything is a Spiral” is an invitation to reconsider our relationship with time. The opening reception will take place at 7 p.m. May 8. Curated by Dejha Carrington.
