Miami, FL, a city brimming with warmth, beauty, and untapped potential, has birthed countless creatives. Yet, as natives, we’ve observed a recurring pattern: local talent flourishes until they inevitably hit a creative ‘glass ceiling.’ Feeling stifled, many move on to larger cities in pursuit of greater opportunities, leaving behind a noticeable void in Miami’s cultural landscape.

Through Cardinal’s lens, we’ve witnessed the local photography community grow and thrive. We’ve aspired to create a space for emerging artists to explore their potential, expand their work, and foster deep connections with each other. As the culmination of our work thus far, this exhibition marks a significant stride in the collective pursuit to elevate our community to new heights. Though the glass ceiling remains, the crack grows bigger each day.
