Alessandro Facente is a New York-based independent curator, holding an MA in Contemporary Art from La Sapienza University. He has curated projects and participated in programs such as Residency Unlimited, HIAP, Ateliê397, CPR 2018, and Kunstverein Dresden. Between 2018 and 2025, he served as curator at Artists Alliance Inc. As an adjunct lecturer, he teaches at Sotheby's Institute of Art and Digital and Interdisciplinary Art Practice (City College of New York). His articles have appeared in ArtAsiaPacific, Heichi, and Hyperallergic. As a visiting critic, he engaged with organisations including Art Omi, Pratt Institute, and Penn.
