David Willis is an art critic and curator specialising in Southeast Asian art for over a decade. Born in Geneva and raised in New York, he holds a BA in Cultural Anthropology from Columbia University and an MFA in Art Criticism from the School of Visual Arts.
His writing has been published by The Brooklyn Rail, ArtAsiaPacific, Art & Market (Singapore) Art Basel Stories, Heichi Magazine, Umbigo Magazine, Almine Rech, Galerie Quynh Contemporary Art, CUC Gallery, and Richard Koh Fine Art (RKFA). Willis has served as a curator at MOT Plus project, Ben Thanh Fine Art, and RKFA. He is currently writing his second full-length artist monograph for RKFA on Thai artist Natee Utarit.
