David Kordansky Gallery announced their representation of rising star, Chase Hall.
Born in 1993 in Minnesota, Hall grew up between Chicago, Las Vegas, Colorado, Dubai, and Los Angeles, finally landing up in New York at the age of 20, where he began developing his painting practice.
Without attending art school, Hall established a unique approach to painting using acrylic and coffee, which he pours onto the canvas before it is distributed using broad brushstrokes.
Over the last few years, Hall has had solo exhibitions at Chicago’s Monique Meloche Gallery in 2020, followed by C L E A R I N G in 2021. His latest solo exhibition at Galerie Eva Presenhuber this year marked the artist’s first presentation in Europe.
