This work is a sublime example from Tony Cragg’s renowned Points of View series. The sculpture comprises three towering columns whose contours reveal human profiles: faces that emerge and dissolve as the viewer moves around them. Depending on the angle of view, figuration gives way to abstraction, and the forms seem to shift and breathe, embodying Cragg’s fascination with the fluid boundaries between perception and material form.
