Crèvecœur was founded in 2009 by Axel Dibie and Alix Dionot-Morani in Paris. Since its creation, the gallery has been supporting French and international artists whose different practices and visual language explore the most forefront topics and relate to the world’s social and political context.
Crèvecœur supports the artists through indoor and institutional exhibitions, production, dissemination of their work, as well as through its publishing house Œ.
The gallery currently has 3 exhibition spaces — in Eastern Paris (20e) and the historic center of Paris (7e).
Crèvecœur is a founding member of Paris Internationale and a selection commitee member of Art Collaboration Kyoto (ACK). Crèvecœur participates in Art Basel Miami Beach, Art Basel Hong Kong, Frieze Seoul, Frieze London, Paris Internationale and ACK.
