About ArtRio 2025

ArtRio is one of Brazil’s most dynamic art fairs, held each year at Rio de Janeiro’s Marina da Glória. Since launching in 2011, the fair has become a vital meeting point for Latin American and international contemporary art, combining the city’s cultural energy with a strong curatorial framework.

ArtRio unfolds across distinct sections: PANORAMA, dedicated to leading galleries; VISTA, highlighting younger and experimental projects; LUPA, showcasing monumental works; and SOLO, featuring focused presentations curated around a single artist. Beyond its market role, the fair is committed to amplifying Brazil’s regional voices through Brasil Contemporâneo, a sector that brings visibility to artists from outside Rio and São Paulo, extending the spotlight to underrepresented areas of the country.

What makes ArtRio unique is its integration of exhibition platforms with wider cultural programming. Talks, debates, and education initiatives invite broader audiences into the conversation, while its inclusive curatorial approach ensures the fair serves as more than just a marketplace. Positioned at the crossroads of global attention and local identity, ArtRio is shaping how Latin American art is seen, celebrated, and collected.
