Press Release

KÖNIG GALERIE | VAULTALEXANDRINENSTRASSE 118–121, 10969 BERLIN

17 JULY – 2 SEPTEMBER 2026

OPENING16 JULY 2026 | 6 – 8 PM

KÖNIG GALERIE is pleased to present THIS TIME TOMORROW by Australian-born, France-based artist Jordy Kerwick in the Vault of St. Agnes. The exhibition takes its title from the 1970 song by The Kinks. The refrain, “This time tomorrow, where will we be?”, expresses uncertainty about a future that feels imminent yet unclear.

Kerwick’s new works turn to small details of everyday life as anchors within this uncertainty: vivid greens from nearby parks, magenta, vermilion, and mauve wildflowers, and the steady sound of water from a fountain that only runs in the warmer months. These familiar encounters accumulate into vibrant tableaux where the everyday unfolds alongside the mythical, the remembered, and the imagined.
