P21 will participate in FRIEZE SEOUL 2025, showcasing a diverse range of works by both Korean and international artists who represent the forefront of contemporary art. Through this fair, P21 reflects the current trends in Korean contemporary art and continues to actively engage with both local and global audiences and major institutions.

Highlight works include sculptures by Haneyl Choi (b. 1991), who gained increased attention after the Gwangju Biennale 2024 and is participating in a group exhibition at P21 on view through September 20th; sculptures by Shin Min (b. 1985), exploring the realities of female labour, following her solo exhibition at P21 after winning the MGM Discoveries Art Prize at Art Basel Hong Kong 2025; works by Minjeong An (b. 1981), currently featured in MoMA New York’s collection exhibition, who maps the body as a diagram of symbols to embed personal narratives; and works by Yaerim Ryu (b. 1994), a new collaborator with P21, who illustrates fictional narratives through her paintings.

Also featured are works by Xiyadie (b. 1963), who uses traditional Chinese papercutting techniques to depict queer bodies and relationships; paintings by Zhang Yingnan (b. 1981), which capture the modern psyche through static compositions; paintings by Keem Jiyoung (b. 1987), reflecting on social disasters and evoking a connected sensibility between individuals and society; surreal cat sculptures by Taewon Ahn (b. 1993), who held solo exhibitions this year at Project Native Informant in London and Diesel Art Gallery in Tokyo; paintings by Hanna Jo (b. 1991), who is currently participating in ‘Young Korean Artists 2025’ at the National Museum of Modern and Contemporary Art, Gwacheon, depicting human equality through anatomical elements; and works by Greek artist Sofia Mitsola (b. 1992), who recently held her first solo exhibition in Korea at P21, presenting mythological female figures inspired by ancient sculpture, animation, and pornography.
