Perrotin Tokyo will host a pop-up presentation of Barry McGee artworks and merchandise between December 9th (Saturday) and January 13th(Saturday). Paintings, small drawings, and sculptures featuring McGee's visual lexicon of vivid geometric patterns, sad-faced characters and stylised letters evoke a colourful chaos of urban diversity and rhythm. The artist produced 21 new drawings for this presentation. Alongside the artworks, T-shirts, zines, books, and water bottles featuring the artist's work will be made available as more accessible mementos.
