The Columns Gallery Singapore is honoured to present The Spirit of Korean Artistry, a landmark exhibition celebrating Korea’s most esteemed contemporary master artists. This followed the gallery’s first Korean masters exhibition in 2020, which focused on the Dansaekhwa movmement.
Commemorating the 50th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Korea and Singapore, this exhibition brings together seminal works by Kim Tschang-Yeul, Yun Hyong-Keun, Park Seo-Bo, Ha Chong-Hyun, Quan Insik, Chung Sang-Hwa, Kwon Young-Woo, Kim Chong-Hak, Choi Myoung Young, Kim Tae Ho, Kim Kang Yong, Jung Jong-Mee, and Toh Yun Hee—artists whose pioneering practices have profoundly shaped contemporary Korean art.
Presented by The Columns Gallery in Seoul and Singapore, the exhibition reflects a deep commitment to cultural exchange and artistic dialogue. It celebrates not only creative innovation but also the enduring relationship between Korea and Singapore.
