Ana Benaroya Biography

Ana Benaroya (b. 1986, New York, NY) is an artist and educator living and working in Jersey City, NJ. Benaroya earned a BFA from the Maryland Institute College of Art, Baltimore, MD, in 2008, and an MFA in Painting at Yale University, New Haven, CT, in 2019.

Recent major exhibitions include Tenura/Fuerza, curated by Galerie Sardine, Le Consortium, Dijon, France (2025); On Holy Ground, Venus Over Manhattan, Art Basel Hong Kong, Hong Kong, China (2024); In My Room: Ana Benaroya, Tom of Finland, and Karl Wirsum, Venus Over Manhattan, New York, NY (2023); Beneath the Paper Moon, Carl Kostyal, Stockholm Sweden (2022); among others.
