Alireza Zandehjan (b. 1999, Tehran, Iran) is a graduate in graphic design from Tehran Fine Arts School.
He began his professional career in fine arts by designing posters for exhibitions at various galleries, such as Soo Contemporary and Parallel Circuit.
The focus of Zandehjan’s independent works is to mock concerns and issues that he has no hope of overcoming, such as death, self-alienation, and emptiness, all of which cast a shadow on all facets of life.
Stills from movies, Post-internet aesthetics, contradictions in form and a silliness and repetition inspired by memes are the sources of his visual inspiration.
Zandehjan seeks a familiar, painful, and absurd image that places the audience in a relatively pleasant realm of emptiness where nothing matters anymore.Zandehjan lives in Tehran, Iran.
