Angela Valamanesh was born in Port Pirie, South Australia in 1953. She completed a Diploma in Design (Ceramics), SA School of Art, University of SA (1977); MA Visual Arts, SA School of Art, University of SA (1993); MFA Program, Glasgow School of Art, Scotland (1997); PhD Graduate, School of Art, Architecture & Design, University of SA (2012).
Exhibitions include Imagining interiors, Jam Factory, Adelaide (2011); Abstract Nature, Anne & Gordon Samstag Museum of Art, Adelaide (2010); Bravura, 21st Century Australian Craft, Art Gallery of SA, Adelaide (2009).
Collections include Art Gallery of South Australia; Newcastle Regional Art Gallery; University of South Australia; Westpac; Macquarie Bank, Sydney; La Trobe University; Aomori Contemporary Art Centre, Japan and Artbank. Angela is presently living and working in Adelaide, South Australia.
