Nguyen's prints and drawings bring to mind dreamlike ecotopias where strangely beautiful creatures interact. She often uses Mylar to create her spectacular, imaginary and sometimes whimsical images. In other work she will print her drawings onto photographic paper, assemble them into giant picture-landscapes which produce colourful unearthly panoramas. Nguyen's view of the world is positive, at times scientific, but always captivating.
