Eduardo Kac is internationally acclaimed for pioneering Bio Art and for pushing the boundaries between art, science, and technology. His art has ventured into space: Inner Telescope (2017) was realized aboard the International Space Station; Ágora (2024) now orbits the Sun; and Adsum landed on the Moon in 2025. Kac’s career spans poetry, performance, printmaking, telepresence, transgenics, and space art.His work has been shown at institutions like MoMA, Tate Modern, Centre Pompidou, Reina Sofia, and in major biennials including Venice, São Paulo, and Gwangju. Kac is also the author of key texts, including Telepresence and Bio Art (2005).
