GE GUANZHONG
Chinese artist Guanzhong has studied Chinese painting and western oil painting since an early age. He strives to combine human nature with reality and social phenomenon in his painting. Guanzhong applies water soluble paint to create massive texture on rice paper while maintaining the traditional feature of Chinese painting. The topics and structure of his works are usually contemporary. One of Guanzhong’s paintings has been presented to former British Prime Minister Gordon Brown as a national gift from the Chinese State Department.
