Joana Lucas (Lisbon, 1979). Fine Arts Degree - Painting, FBAUL Faculty of Fine Arts of the University of Lisbon (2000). Erasmus scholar, Statens kunstakademi, Oslo (2003). Advanced Photography, Portuguese Association of Photographic Art, Lisbon (2004). Leonardo da Vinci scholar, KMAntenne, Berlin (2005-2006). She lives and works in Berlin.
Her work is represented in the PLJM Foundation (Lisbon, PT), in the PBAMSD collection (Porto, PT), in the Rui Cunha Foundation (Macau, CN), in the Eurostars Berlin (DE), as well as in numerous private collections in Portugal, Spain, France, Germany, Switzerland and China.
