MICHAEL SHEPHERD
b. 1950, New ZealandMichael Shepherd’s still life paintings recall the works of 17th century European masters, yet his evocative description of such theme equally allude to the transitory nature of art and existence. Shepherd graduated DFA (Hon) from Elam SFA (1979) and was made a MNZOM (2008). His work is held in the collection of Te Papa Tongarewa.
