Dyn obtained his Bachelorʼs Degree from the Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology (RMIT) in Australia, and later his Masterʼs Degree in Fine Arts from Open University at LASALLE – SIA College of the Arts.
Dyn first showcased his works at Chan Hampe Galleries at Tanjong Pagar in 2011 and held subsequent solo shows with the gallery in 2012 and 2013. In 2010 he exhibited at the Karin Weber Gallery in Hong Kong. Dyn was a recipient of the Winston Oh Travel Scholarship in 2002 and 2004, and The Della Butcher Award (Certificate of Merit) in 2003.
