Artist Sanghoon Ahn is known for his experimental approach to painting exploring the medium's materiality and personal connections to him. Sanghoon Ahn graduated from Jung-Ang University, Seoul, and was a Meisterschüler at Kunstakademie Münster. He has participated in residencies including at Gyeonggi Creation Center, Ansan (2019); Incheon Art Platform (2017–2018); and Residency Kunsthof Dahrenstedt, Sachen-Anhalt, Germany (2015).
