Dallas Art Fair to Welcome 90 Exhibitors This April
By Elaine YJ Zheng – 29 January 2025, Dallas

Dallas Art Fair (DAF), which dubs itself a ‘global art fair rooted in Texas’, will welcome 90 galleries from 20 countries to the Fashion Industry Gallery in downtown Dallas for its 17th edition, opening from 10 to 13 April 2025.

‘Every year, it is our mission to facilitate discovery and curiosity, to foster genuine connections between exhibitors and collectors,’ said Kelly Cornell, director of Dallas Art Fair. ‘We are extremely proud to welcome this exceptional roster of galleries to the fair this year.’

Among returning galleries are Perrotin (New York/Paris/Hong Kong/Seoul/Tokyo/Shanghai), Alexander Berggruen (New York), Josh Lilley (London), and Kerlin Gallery (Dublin).

They will be joined by first-time exhibitors such as Tezukayama Gallery (Osaka), Duarte Sequeira (Braga/Seoul/London), Galería Ethra (Mexico City), Make Room (Los Angeles), and WHATIFTHEWORD (Cape Town).

Over two quarters of exhibitors hail from the U.S., including reputable galleries like Anat Ebgi (Los Angeles/New York), Andrew Reed Gallery (Miami/New York), Berry Campbell (New York), Hollis Taggart (New York), and Vielmetter Los Angeles.

Landing from neighbouring countries are galleries like OMR (Mexico City) and Patel Brown (Montreal/Toronto). European representation is noted in the likes of Fabienne Levy Gallery (Geneva/Lausanne), Nino Mier Gallery (Brussels/New York), and 193 Gallery (Paris/Venice).

Established in 2008, DAF has built a reputation for its cordial atmosphere and laidback pace, known to the Southern state, which has welcomed an influx of collectors looking beyond major art hubs over the years.

The fair will once again overlap with Dallas Invitational (10–12 April 2025), a boutique fair that hosts an annual selection of 14 galleries—including François Ghebaly (Los Angeles/New York) and Empty Gallery (Hong Kong) this year—since its inaugural 2023 edition.

Last November, Miami‘s Untitled Art fair announced that it would expand to Houston in September 2025, while New York’s Salon Art + Design is set to open in Dallas this March. —[O]
