Shortlisted for the Deutsche Börse Foundation Photography Prize—one of the most prestigious of its kind in photography in Europe—Samoylova looks at environmentalism, and how our understanding of climate change is affected by consumer culture.
In this recent body of photographs, Samoylova highlights unique textures, colours, and compositions to reflect the many sides of the sunshine state.
