Otis Kwame Kye Quaicoe‘s bold and beautiful ‘Black Cowboy’ series has arrived at Almine Rech‘s Rue de l’Abbaye space in Brussels.
For his European solo debut, the Ghanaian painter’s lush oil portraits expand on the untold stories of the Black American cowboy—a theme he explored at Rubell Museum‘s coveted residency programme in Miami towards the end of last year. ‘BLACK RODEO: Cowboys of the 21st Century’ is on view through to 16 April 2022.
