Magdalena Abakanowicz: Every Tangle of Thread and Rope
17 November 2022–21 May 2023 Save to My OculaTate Modern offers a rare opportunity to explore 26 radical works by late Polish artist Magdalena Abakanowicz, known as Abakans. Made of organic materials such as horsehair, sisal and hemp rope, these monumental soft sculptures broke new ground in the 1960s and 70s.
