Here the past reappears, an idea continues to hold, persistently oscillating between subconscious wanderings and a wakeful proposition, another part to be explored, part two. An exhibition both attached to the soul of its older sibling but extending with its own direction. For the advantage of avoiding the concreteness of closed-circuit jargon allows for an atmosphere to appear, for language, perception, connections and forms to indeed form themselves.

About the Gallery
1301SW was founded in 2022 in Naarm/Melbourne’s inner-south, embracing the region while having strong roots internationally. Extending from its Melbourne base, the gallery expanded its unique and ambitious exhibition program to Gadigal/Sydney with the opening of a second gallery space in late 2024.
