ART BASEL MIAMI BEACH 2025

Alisan Fine Arts is excited to be participating in Art Basel Miami Beach for the very first time. Over the past four decades, the gallery’s mission has been to introduce global audiences to Chinese diasporic artists. Our expansion to New York in 2023 reinforced our commitment to Chinese and Asian artists living and working in the US, connecting the artists who we worked with in the 1980s with a new generation of artists working here today. For Art Basel Miami, we are excited to present the work of an earlier generation of artists including Chinyee, Fong Chung-Ray, Ming Fay, and Walasse Ting, alongside a younger generation of artists including Fu Xiaotong, Yifan Jiang, Li Hongwei, Justin Lim, and Kelly Wang. There has been palpable excitement among curators and institutions to discover and recontextualize the history of Asian Diasporic art both here in the US and internationally. As we present works from two generations of artists, it is our hope that our curation will bring added awareness to the diversity of art practices within the Asian Diaspora, as well as highlighting points of intersection among them.
