Bailly Gallery Geneva is delighted to present a group of masterpieces retracing the range of painterly activity that characterised the last decades of the 19th century and the beginning of the 20th century. The exhibition is a beautiful glimpse into the personal lives of Pissarro and Renoir, depicting their favourite scenes, friends and family. Through the artists brushstrokes these everyday moments are transformed into a lasting beauty. ‘The work of art must seize upon you, wrap you up in itself, carry you away.
