In the newest works in the series, a metal element appears: a bracket-like form that attaches to the edge of the work and from which a cable descends.

It is the same component—lightly adapted—that appears in the Interstices floor pieces. Its arrival here is not incidental. The same form that functions as a structural and activating element in a floor-based metal object now attaches itself to a textile surface, changing its role without changing its identity.
The work that looked like a painting now looks like it is connected to something. It is part of a system. The cable does not lead anywhere visible—but its presence is enough to shift the register entirely. This is the migration the exhibition proposes—elements moving through different bodies, taking on different meanings as it goes.
