Press Release
Collectively, Walters' artworks form one of the most important bodies of work ever produced in New Zealand and his geometric abstractions have become somewhat emblematic of New Zealand art. The exhibition of ten works brings together key elements of his oeuvre, highlights of which are three rarely seen koru paintings. The exhibition runs concurrent to The Walters Prize 2014 exhibition at the Auckland Art Gallery.
