Acrylic resin, styrofoam 40.2 x 45 x 37.8 cm 15 7/8 x 17 3/4 x 15 inches Protrusion: A series of AI rendered 3D works, modeled after the data of over 500 bust sculptures from the Renaissance period and onward. The data was collected from a site called Scan the world, which uploads 3D scanned sculptures from museum collections of various countries and offers them as public data. While it is true that these works have 'learned' the human chest, these protrusions are nothing but nonsensical shapes of mass. Likewise, perhaps in another possible world, works of art may mean nothing more than useless protrusions.
