In conjunction with Kyungmi Shin’s solo exhibition My Fantasy’s Burdens, Perrotin Los Angeles presents Plants & Animals, a special focus presentation in the south gallery of our 5040 W. Pico space. Anchored by Shin’s installation ready to fly (comprising 15 handmade ceramics and planters), Plants & Animals also showcases plant, flower, fruit, and animal subjects in works by Theodora Allen, Chiho Aoshima, Amy Cutler, Jean-Michel Othoniel, and Austyn Weiner. The sympathetic dialogue between these artworks speaks to the timelessness of the natural and living world as a source of artistic inspiration.
