Our Frieze New York presentation (Booth A9) will feature artists with major upcoming institutional and gallery exhibitions. In parallel with our gallery show, we’ll highlight a work from Pacita Abad’s Door to Life series, inspired by the ornate doors and stained glass windows she encountered during her 1998 trip to Yemen. We’ll also feature two drawings by Pio Abad ahead of his inclusion in the 61st Biennale di Venezia. We’ll show tulip collages by Jennifer Tee, whose work is now on view in LACMA’s new David Geffen Galleries, and works by Mire Lee in advance of her solo show at Secession, Vienna, this June. Lastly, we’ll feature new paintings by Maia Ruth Lee leading up to her installation at Art Basel Unlimited this summer and her solo gallery show this fall.
