Akamatsu Nelo
JapanBorn in Tokyo, currently resides in Kanagawa Prefecture. Received MFA of Inter Media Art course of Tokyo University of the Arts. Akamatsu has been creating works using various media such as sound installations that evoke a sense of time, event installations, videos, sculptures, paintings and photographs. In 2015, he received the Ars Electronica Golden Nica prize in the Digital Musics and Sound Art category for ‘Chijikinkutsu’ and since then, has participated in exhibitions and art festivals around the world.
