Atoosa Alebouyeh (b. 1993, Tehran, Iran) is a Tehran-based photographer. She received her BFA in Photography from Azad University in Tehran, and also studied Photo Editing at Tehran University of Art. She started her art practice in 2012 and has participated in several group exhibitions ever since including: BIENALSUR, Buenos Aires (2023); NordArt, Kunstwerk Calrshütte, Germany (2023); Eine Möglichkeit, Kunstwirtschaft, Graz, Austria (2023); Paris Photo X3, Paris (2021, 2022); No. 238 Gallery, Istanbul (2019). She has won prizes for her photography at Tokyo International Foto Awards (2022), and Paris Photo X3 (2021). Her work was published in the book Breathing Space: Iranian Women Photographers (Thames & Hudson, 2023) featuring 23 Iranian female photographers.
