Hananiah holds a BFA, an MA and a MFA by Research from the University of New South Wales. She has exhibited extensively since 2009, and her work is held in Macquarie Bank, Hornsby Shire Council and Trinity College. The artist has been the recipient of several prestigious awards including the Mosman Art Prize Viewer’s Choice Award (2012), the Hornsby Art Prize (2011), the Blake Prize Society’s John Coburn Emerging Artist Award (2011) and the Winsor & Newton Start your Studio Scholarship. Hananiah has also been a finalist in numerous other awards such as the Mosman Art Prize (2014, 2012, 2009), the Blacktown Art Prize (2011, 2010) and the Waverly Art Prize (2011, 2010, 2009).
